The insurance industry is complex and requires a deep understanding of risk management, legal principles, and ethical practices. The Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation is one of the most prestigious accomplishments in the insurance field and is conferred by The Institutes, a leading provider of risk management and insurance education.
This designation signifies a high level of expertise and commitment to the property and casualty insurance industry. Earning the CPCU designation is no small feat. It is thought of as a Master’s Degree in insurance. It involves completing a rigorous curriculum that covers a wide range of topics, such as insurance operations, underwriting, claims handling, and legal aspects of insurance and requires passing a series of exams, which test both technical knowledge and practical application. The exams require significant preparation.
Mackoul is proud to congratulate Nicole Eggert, Nicole Adam, and Courtney Ferretti on recently obtaining this designation.
Our agency now has a total of seven members who have completed their CPCU designations. The other four are Edward Mackoul, Sally Dolce, Gabrielle Fisher, and Cheryl Fitzpatrick.
