Get To Know Nicole

What does your title mean to you?
It means being part of a team that provides excellent customer service to all our insureds.

What gets your fired up about coming to work?
Learning. Every day it offers an opportunity to learn something new which gives me the knowledge I need to grow.

Why did you go into Insurance? What do you enjoy most?
My start in the insurance business was all because  of the great things I heard about working at Mackoul Risk Solutions. I knew I had to be a part of it. I never knew all the different types of insurance or what they were used for before coming here. I enjoy working with such an intelligent group of people who have helped me understand the importance of insurance.

What’s your favorite song on your playlist? Why?
Steady As We Go by Dave Matthews Band. For one, it’s my wedding song. But also, it’s a simple song that reminds me to keep calm. Things aren’t always perfect but when you have a support system in your life, you can get through anything.

Who would you like to meet and why?
Ellen DeGeneres. She seems like a very down to earth person who uses her celebrity status to encourage and inspire others.

What character trait do you most admire?
Loyalty and Timeliness.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?
Treat other people as you would want to be treated. Whatever I do in my life, I try to always consider the other person that I am interacting with. You never know what someone else has going on in their life at that moment. Be kind.

What is the one thing you cannot do without?
My family (and chapstick!)

What’s your favorite travel spot?
Antigua

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chicken cutlets with macaroni and cheese.
