Meet Our Team

Edward J. Mackoul is the CEO of Mackoul Risk Solutions, where he oversees all facets of the organization. A Certified Insurance Counselor and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), he brings more than 30 years of experience in insurance and risk management to the firm.

Mackoul Risk Solutions specializes in commercial, business, personal, and real estate insurance, as well as insurance monitoring and employee benefits, and is widely recognized as one of the premier personal insurance agencies in the region.

Mr. Mackoul is frequently quoted on real estate insurance topics in major publications, including The New York Times, Habitat Magazine, The Cooperator, and others. He is an active member of several professional organizations across New York and New Jersey, including the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the Community Associations Institute (CAI).

A dynamic and gifted speaker, he has presented at numerous seminars and symposia on essential insurance topics. He also conducts educational programs for property management firms and board members on a wide range of insurance-related issues.

Mr. Mackoul lives in Staten Island with his wife, four children, and their dog—who proudly serves as Chief Barketing Officer of the agency.
