As the CEO of Mackoul Risk Solutions, Edward J. Mackoul is responsible for running all facets of the business. As a Certified Insurance Counselor and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), he brings over 29 years of experience in insurance and risk management to Mackoul. Specializing in personal, commercial, business, real estate, and employee benefits, Mackoul Risk Solutions is recognized as one of the finest personal insurance agencies in the New York Metropolitan area.
He is quoted frequently on real estate insurance topics in the New York Times, Habitat Magazine, The Cooperator, and other publications. Mr. Mackoul is an active member of several professional organizations in both New York and New Jersey, including the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the Community Associations Institute (CAI).
As a gifted speaker, he has been invited to lecture at numerous seminars and symposia on vital insurance topics. In addition, he provides educational seminars to property management firms and board members on insurance-related issues.
Mr. Mackoul is married, lives in Staten Island, and has four children and one dog, who is the Chief Barketing Officer of the agency.
