The Cooperator recently published an article titled “Insuring Honesty & Integrity”. Our President, Edward Mackoul, was quoted in regards to the importance of Crime and D&O coverage for co-ops, condominiums and homeowners associations.
In regards to D&O Insurance, Edward said, “It’s not mandatory, but they’d have to be insane not to have it. A co-op is a corporation, and they’re making decisions. Eventually, they’re going to make a decision that people aren’t going to be happy with, and people are going to sue. They’re going to need D&O coverage.”
