Mackoul is proud to sponsor a Staten Island Little League team this year. The 2014 opening day ceremonies were held on April 26th, and Mackoul & Associates is ready to start a triumphant season! We’re also excited to be sponsoring an Island Park softball team and a Long Beach Little League team this year.
Community service projects and sponsorships are an important part of the culture that we promote at Mackoul & Associates. We believe that coming together as an organization to help our communities will yield powerful results!

Are you interested in implementing a community service project in your workplace? See some tips to help get you started:
Human Resources Check: First, check with your HR department to see if there are any restrictions/rules before you get started. Depending on your company, there may be guidelines already in place.
Start a Committee: Find a few co-workers that share your enthusiasm to build a community service commitee. Give your committee members assignments based on their attributes and skill sets.
Find an Organization: Search non-profit organizations in your area for options. Find out what is expected from each organization to participate (1 hour a week, 1 day a month, etc.). Volunteer Match is a great website to get started when looking for ideas and opportunities.
Get Your Company Involved: Once you pick an organization, make sure you tell your co-workers about your project to encourage them to participate too. Let your Communications and Marketing Departments know about your project so they can promote it as well.
Do you have a community service project this year? Tell us about it!
