Since you love our email newsletters, we’ve figured out a way for you to view them at your own convenience. By creating the “Mackoul & Associates News Blog,” information is now easily available without having to search for an email.
What is a blog?
Now, some of you may be saying “What is a blog?” and why would I be interested in this? A blog is like an online journal where you can post articles, videos, links, and other media to create useful content for your online community. On the Mackoul & Associates News Blog, we post various safety tips to keep your property and family safe, information about insurance coverage, and our own company updates with photos from our events. We post tips ranging from insurance related topics like “Flood, Earthquake and Hurricane Insurance” to lifestyle related topics like “How to Save on Gas Using Apps and Rewards Programs.” To add a bit of fun, we post unique recipes on “Tasty Tuesdays” and lifestyle related tips on “Feel Good Fridays”. We also hold contests where you could win valuable prizes. Currently, you could win a Kindle reader for liking our facebook page at www.facebook.com/mackoulinsurance. How do I use a blog?
First, submit your email on the right hand side of this page to receive updates when we post new articles. Each time we post an article, you will receive an email notification from my email address at jmaffeo@mackoul.com with the title of the new article in the subject area. If a topic interests you, you can view it at your leisure, along with any other article you find interesting. To navigate the blog, you can look at the right hand side to see the latest posts arranged by which article is the most recently published. If you continue to scroll down, you will see the posts arranged by category so that you can search for them by the content you wish to review. For example, if you are interested in Resources for Property Managers, or Homeowners Insurance, we’ve got a category for each of those topics. If you are interested in Cool Apps for smart phones, we’ve got a category for that too! There is also a function that allows you to post comments, questions or suggestions after each post and we welcome you to do so! If an article doesn’t appeal to you, you can simply delete the email notification or unsubscribe at any time.
